Welcome to Elearnmarine, the creation of Corfu Sea School, a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) recognised Training Centre.

We offer a wide range of online training courses, many of which include the award of globally recognised RYA certificates.

The teaching materials for our courses are online. Which means that you can start studying right now. Each course is made up of a number of narrated animations and videos. These are combined with online exercises, quizzes and activities to provide a comprehensive yet fun learning experience.

Our courses are written by RYA Yachtmaster Instructors, are based on thousands of hours of teaching and are approved by the RYA.

There has never been a simpler, more accessible or enjoyable way to gain these valuable qualifications. We hope you enjoy studying with us.

 

Available Courses

  • Practical Course Primer
    Cost: €50.00
    A primer for those attending one of our practical courses in Greece. Covers the essentials of ropework, the rules of the road, nautical terms, sailing theory and living aboard a yacht.
  • RYA Basic Navigation & Safety
    Cost: €185.00
    A comprehensive Royal Yachting Association course covering all aspects of basic navigation and safety. An ideal introduction for anyone going to sea.
  • Marine Diesel Engine
    Cost: €20.00
    A short course on the Marine Diesel Engine. How it works, fixing common problems and routine maintenance. This course requires an enrolment key. This is available free to existing clients via email.
  • VHF Radio and the GMDSS
    Cost: €25.00
    A short course on the operation of marine band VHF radio and the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System.

Today, we added a new course which we hope will prove helpful to all those using marine diesel engines. The course, which broadly follows the syllabus of the RYA's one day course , introduces the principals of how an engine works, describes the repairs that came be made to fix common faults and discusses routine maintenance tasks.

The course is free to any of our existing practical or online course clients. It requires an enrolment code to access. Please email us if you wish to enrol.
